At the beginning of this year, I set myself a GoodReads challenge of reading 150 books, however by the time it got to April/May time I was wayyy behind schedule and feeling under pressure which resulted in me feeling rather stressed out and this started to suck the joy out of reading. So I made the decision to adjust my goal slightly. My newish challenge is 120 books.
As we are halfway through the year I thought it would be fun to have a look at some of my other reading statistics from this challenge. I present to you my first ever personally made infographic:
I didn’t actually realize how many books I’d rated 5 stars until I made this graphic which was a nice surprise. I’m pretty happy to be 64 books in, I’m 5 books ahead of schedule now that has definitely eased the pressure as well.
One other thing that I forgot to add which I think is pretty cool is that so far this year I have read 18,604 pages!!
So have you set yourself a reading challenge? Are you managing to keep to on schedule? I’d love to hear from you!
Until Next Time! 🤓
I love how Goodreads tells you whether your ahead or behind schedule. I set my reading goal much higher this year than previous years and have been nervous I wasn’t going to make it. But, Goodreads assures me I’m on track. I can understand why you modified your goals. I wouldn’t want reading to feel like work or be stressful either!

I love this feature too! GoodReads is probably one of my favourite site, I’ve used it more this year then I have ever before. Well done on keeping on track! 🙂
