Earlier in the week, I saw a post on Facebook about books that are overrated and it got 
me thinking about the books that I would put in this category. There’s not that many that made it to the list:
Red Queen -Victoria Aveyard
I read this earlier in the year and while the story is ok, I don’t get what the fuss is about.
The Hate U Give – Angie Thomas
I finished this one on the weekend and I’m still trying to write the review for it. I was so pumped to read this but again I felt it wasn’t as good as everyone has made it out to be.
Mortal Instruments – Cassandra Claire
So I read this series years ago before the movie and tv series came along, and back then I thought it was ok, but the way people go on about it now likes it’s the best thing since sliced bread – eh no thanks!
First Life – Gena Showalter
I have seen lots of support this on social media but it just bored me.
Fan Girl – Rainbow Rowell
Again it was ok but I didn’t think it was anything to shout about.
Me Before You – JoJo Moyes
I read this one last year, just beofre the movie came out and it left a really bad taste in my mouth. The majority of it was ok but the ending sucked.
The Fault in Our Stars
I do actually like this one but I do think its overhyped as well, I mean its good but it’s not that good.
Now I do realize that some of these are beloved by a lot of people so please don’t hate me too much, if you happen to love these books then I totally respect your opinion but they are just not for me.
