At 17 Elizabeth mets Dominic in a bar after using a fake ID. Later that night she ends up at Dominic’s place where she loses her virginity to him. They fall for each other hard and fast and then it all comes tumbling down. 10 Years later all Dominic has on his mind is revenge and all Elizabeth wants is forgiveness.
Not sure where to begin really, I liked this storey but at the same time I didnt really care for it. I liked the storyline but I think it was some of the characters behaviours that gratted my nerves a bit.
Dominc is a tad childish and overall a very confused person especially when it comes to Elizabeth, I mean I kinda get where hes coming from most of the time but I didn’t get how we could have been so blind to what was really going with Elizabeth.
I found myself sympathising with Elizabeth more than Dominic. She is a deeply unhappy person that has been manipulated by her family for most of her life. I just really felt she deserved more.
The story itself was ok I would like to have gotten more answers than I did but I guess more will be revealed in book 2, which I will definitely read because I need answers! Also, I’m really rooting for Elizabeth to get her happy ending!
