Cinema Sunday: Movies of 2019

Hello and welcome to Cinema Sunday, this meme was created by Jessica over at Escape 2 Fiction.

I didn’t get around to watching any new movies this week, so I’m doing something a bit different for today’s post. I’m going to take you through the Movies that I’m most looking forward to in 2019. I’ve tried to list these in release order:

1. The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part

I’ve seen the first Lego Movie countless times and it’s just so funny, which is one of the main reasons I’m looking forward to the second one so much, from the trailers it looks like it will be just as hilarious!

Plot:

It’s been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO® invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than they can rebuild.

Trailer:

2. Captain Marvel

I’m a huge fan of the Marvel Movies so of course, I’m looking forward to seeing what this movie brings, I’m kind of torn though because of my ever-changing feelings for Brie Larson… I’m sure it will be awesome though

Plot:

Carol Danvers becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.

Trailer:

3. Avengers Endgame

Omg! I cannot wait for this movie! I remember leaving the Cinema after Infinity War in a total state of shock at what happened! I need answers and I need them now! So exciting, I just hope Thor lives! 🤞🏻

Plot:

In the aftermath of Thanos wiping out half of all life in the universe, the remaining Avengers must do what’s necessary to undo the Mad Titan’s deed.

4. John Wick: Chapter 3

I’ve seen the first 2 movies, I really enjoyed the first, the second was a bit meh but still watchable. There’s not much info around for this movie yet, I just about managed to find out the plot, but never the less I’m excited to see what is coming next.

Plot:

John Wick is still on the run following his assassination of a member of the High Table in The Continental, and with a $14 million global contract out on himself. Banned from every Continental service, John’s objective is to fight his way out of New York City.

Trailer: None as yet!

5. Dark Phoenix

I have been an X-Men fan for longer than I can remember, I’m really liking what they are doing with going back in time and looking at the lives of the X-Men when they were younger. This movie looks awesome!

Plot:

Jean Grey begins to develop incredible powers that corrupt and turn her into a Dark Phoenix. Now the X-Men will have to decide if the life of a team member is worth more than all the people living in the world.

That’s it for this week, feel free to let me know which movies you are looking forward to in the comments.
