Plot
Mike and Dave Stangle are young, adventurous, fun-loving brothers who tend to get out of control at family gatherings. When their sister Jeanie reveals her Hawaiian wedding plans, the rest of the clan insists that they both bring respectable dates. After placing an ad on Craigslist, the siblings decide to pick Tatiana and Alice, two charming and seemingly normal women. Once they arrive on the island, however, Mike and Dave realize that their companions are ready to get wild and party hard.

My Thoughts
I first watched this movie on a flight to Las Vegas and remember having to try not to laugh too loudly because no one wants to be that annoying person on a long flight! It’s so funny, and it’s silly funny which is my favorite kind of comedy. Mike and Dave need to find nice respectable girls to take to their sisters’ wedding in Hawaii. This leads to posting an add on Craigs List which goes viral and soon they find themselves on the Wendy Willaims Show. Enter Tatiana and Alice who decide to pretend to be a “nice” girls so they can get a free trip to Hawaii.
The Characters in this movie are spot on with their comedic performances! Zac and Efron and Andy Bovine are brillian I was literally crying laughing watching their banter! If you haven’t seen this film then I encourage you to watch just for them alone. Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza are fantastic too, Anna plays Alice who has just been left at the alter halfway through her wedding, she is a mess. Aubrey is Tatiana, who is co-dependent on Alice and well a mess too but they are just as hilarious as the boys.
The storyline is fairly straightforward and it’s loosely based on the real-life events of the Stangle brothers who really did post an online ad for wedding dates. Although I imagine the real events to be less outrageous then what is portrayed in the movie.
Overall this really is a brilliant comedy, ratings are kind of low on IMBD but I love this film! I watched it so many times now that I have all the funniest parts memorized. If you like silly funny moves then do give this one ago.
