This is another hilarious romantic comedy from R.S.Grey! This is the story of Madison and Ben. Madison has lived a fairly boring sheltered life, so on her 25th birthday, she makes a wish for her life to be more exciting. Someone really should have warned her to be careful what she wishes for… enter Ben the one guy that Madison has been warned off.

The story wasn’t what I was expecting, for some reason when I first read the blurb I thought Ben was going to be a criminal when in fact he is the complete opposite. It was actually nice to be taken by surprise though. I thought Maddison was a great character, she starts off fairly repressed in that she is still living at home and is very overprotected by her dad and brother but she really gets out of her shell with Ben. I also liked Ben I thought he was very sweet with Maddison and had a lot of patience with her.

The relationship build up between Maddison and Ben was paced really nicely, Rachel really does write great slow burn romance like no other. For me, it makes their love more believable because they get to know it each other before ripping each other’s clothes off.

In summary, if you love Rachel’s other books then this is totally a must read, there is a reference to a previous novel in this one so if you are familiar with her books then you’ll love this just as much as I did.
