Synopsis
Nico Merryweather loves women—all women. Sure, they’re sexy and fun. But “Player” is an easy reputation to hide behind, a way to keep the good times rolling and reality at bay. He’s loud, he’s cocky, he says exactly what he’s thinking, and people just laugh it off because they think they know him. But Nico makes sure no one is close enough to know the truth. I wasn’t too sure what to expect with this book, I didn’t particularly like Nico when I read Dumb and Chase, in all honesty, I thought he was pretty douchy.
This book totally changed my mind about him though. I understand him much better now and how he acted in Dumb and chase makes total sense now. This book deals with issues that don’t often come up in romantic fiction so it was a refreshing change.
I also really liked Aviva (also her name is awesome) she is brave and strong and a total badass, mostly everything you’d want from a female lead, although her stubbornness was a little annoying at times.
Overall this book really good and I would recommend it.
