The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. On February 15, 2013, it was relaunched by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. The Prompt for this weeks hop is:Β
What were some of the most memorable books you read as a child? What made them memorable? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)
The earliest book memories I have is of the Famous Five books and The Magic Far Away Tree, mainly because they were the stories my mum would read to me before going to bed. I loved hearing about the adventures these children went on. I think this is also where my love of books began.
As I got older and began reading myself I’d say the Rahl Dahl books stick out because I read a lot of them in Junior school and finally as a teen, I read The Princess Diaries, which is memorable because they were the first YA novels I ever read and I’ve been obsessed with that genre ever since.
I didn’t read that much as a child and what I read, I read it for school so nothing is memorable for me.

I love this week’s question! Enid Blyton fantasy was my starter-for-ten too, Tracey π although I did dip my toes into horror during my teen/adolescent years.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. Here’s my BBH Post
