As it’s Valentine’s day tomorrow I thought it would be fun to talk about whether you celebrate the day of love or not.
When me and my husband first started dating we were fully into it and celebrated it for a good few years, but slowly we’ve moved away from it, I like to think its because we don’t need one day to show that we love each other, we do that every day with the small things we do for each other.
So this year we won’t be going out, plus I’m working all day freaking day. Instead, we are going to cook a meal together Saturday and indulge in a little dessert and just enjoy each others company.

Books & Other Pursuits 
When I was younger, I used to think it was so important to celebrate Valentine’s Day to show my significant other how much I cared. But growing up and learning about relationships and love I realized too that you don’t need a day to express your love for someone. That should happen all time time. So like you, my fiancé and I won’t be going out but just doing a movie marathon like we do pretty much every Friday night. I loved your post, it made me see that I’m not the only one that doesn’t go all out for Valentine’s Day ☺️
