[#6] Thursday Chatter: Netflix vs Amazon Prime Video

Thursday Chatter is a weekly meme hosted by me! Where I chat about lots of different things, you can find a list of upcoming topics here.

This week it’s a big debate: Netflix Vs Amazon Prime Video. Which is best?? Do you prefer one over the other?

Personally, I think Netflix is a little bit more superior, in terms of TV show originals

• Big Mouth
• Umbrella Academy
• The Witcher
• Disjointed
• Riverdale

and that’s just the Netflix originals, whereas I’m only watching 3 Amazon Originals; The Boys, Carnival Row, and Star Trek Picard.  I do think Amazon offers better classic shows:

• Buffy the Vampire Slayer
• Grey’s Anatomy (Early Seasons)
• Supernatural
• Bones
• One Tree Hill
• Futurama
• Ugly Betty
• Heros

However, Amazon does allow you to rent movies and buy movies which is something that Netflix doesn’t offer.  In terms of Movie offerings I can’t really pick one over the other, they can both really suck at times and equally offer great movie options at other times. I do enjoy a lot of Netflix original movies though.

So in summary… it’s way too hard to choose! I went into this thinking I would end up picking Netflix but no Amazon has faired very well.
