Books You`re too scared to read

I’m such a scardy cat when it comes to horror so this list was easy to come up with:

  • IT by Stephen King
  • The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson
  • Lord of the Flies by William Golding
  • The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty
  • The Amityville Horror by Jay Anson
  • The Shining by Stephen King

  1. I’m actually fortunate that horror books don’t really get me as much as movies do, and I have to say that The Shining was a nice story, but was pretty ‘meh’ in terms of scariness. I’ll put Lord Of The Flies there as well. But now you reminded me that perhaps I should start reading IT. Good luck with spooky October!
