I’m going to go with some sort of Romatic Comedy because this genre is usually done fairly well when a book is adapted for the big screen, now just to pick one, let’s see I think it would have to be Kiss My Cupcake by Helena Hunting.

i think you’re right that a rom-com is the least likely to be ruined. I have a few fantasy and sci-fi series’ I’d love to suggest but they are so often ruined when turned into TV programmes or films.
