Ahh, I love love loved this story. Sylvie and Anton are totally adorable. This book was addictive – I didn’t want to put it down. I really liked the female hockey team all the girls are so sassy and fierce it was fantastic.
Sylvie has been given this opportunity on the women’s hockey team bombshells, but she is still pining for Bryce Campeau a player on the men’s team who she thinks is the person she is destined to be with until she befriends Anton. Their attraction is undeniable and has Sylvie questioning everything she thought she knew. Meanwhile, Anton is trying to come back from his not so great performance last season, his priority is proving to his coach and himself that he has what it takes. He has no time for distractions… that is until he meets Sylvie
I enjoyed the fact that even though you could feel the attraction between these characters – they became friends first before any romantic stuff happened, which doesn’t happen and a lot of the time in most romance books. I also liked how Sylvie kept Anton on his toes – it was highly entertaining.
In a Nutshell…
This was another fantastic read from Sarina and a clear reason why she is one of my one-click authors. If you love the other books in the Brooklyn Bruisers Series you won’t want to miss this one.
