[Monthly Wrap Up] January 2022

Books Read in January

Most of the time when I do my wrap up posts the month has whizzed by and I like “oh I can’t believe how fast blah blah month went”, well not this month friends! January has dragged on and on, in fact its felt like 2 months in one! On the plus side to this I did manage to get a nice bit of reading in, I read a total of 11 books which were:

  1. The Playbook by K.G. Reuss
  2. Bad Cruz by L. J. Shen
  3. The Best Men by Sarina Bowen
  4. The Stopover by T.L. Swan
  5. Outrageously in Love by Jen Morris
  6. Gild by Raven Kennedy
  7. Glint by Raven Kennedy
  8. Gleam by Raven Kennedy
  9. Enemies Abroad by R.S. Grey
  10. The Roommate Situation by Katie Bailey
  11. The Neighbour War by Katie Bailey

Apart from 3 of these, the rest of these books were brilliant! I’m totally hooked on The Plated Prisoner Series, I can’t believe it took me so long to give Gild a try! I also found a few new authors, Katie Bailey and Jen Morris who both write excellent rom-coms, so if you haven’t tried any of their books I highly recommend giving them a try.

Other Reading Challenges

I read 8 books from this challenge.

I only managed to read Gild from this list so for, I did then binge the next two books so I’m counting that as a complete win!

Book Mail

So didn’t actually buy any books in January, however I get some pretty cool mail during December, Gilded by Marissa Mayer and Lore Olympus by Rachel Smythe.
