Plot
After the cataclysmic events in New York with his fellow Avengers, Steve Rogers, aka Captain America (Chris Evans), lives in the nation’s capital as he tries to adjust to modern times. An attack on a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague throws Rogers into a web of intrigue that places the whole world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and a new ally, the Falcon, Rogers struggles to expose an ever-widening conspiracy, but he and his team soon come up against an unexpected enemy.

My Thoughts
This is an oldie but a goodie. I rewatched this movie this weekend, it’s one of those movies that I forgot how good it was because I hadn’t seen it in such a long time. I loved all the action and fighting scenes. Particularly the fight in the elevator, so badass.
Also during this rewatch, I really started to understand why Steve didn’t want to sign those accords in Civil War. They all turn against him in this movie and he sees just how easily these agencies can be corrupted.
Steve and Peggy are my OTP in the MCU. I just love them, I feel so sad that they never got proper time together. The scene with them together is this movie so heartbreaking! 😭 God damn you marvel!
I also liked the introduction on Falcon, he’s not a major character in the grand scheme of things but I like the contribution he does make. Lots of his scenes are fairly humorous which offers some nice comedic relief. One of my favorite bits is right at the beginning when he is out running with Steve.
Finally Bucky! I can remember the first time I watched this movie and realising that the Winter Soldier was Bucky! It changed everything. Steve thinks he’s come to take out the bad guy and bam it turns out to be his best friend! Also, the fighting between him and Steve are bloody brutal.
